A New Customer, a New-Look Portal

Customer Partner Portal

As a new NitroSell customer, I recently discovered that the NitroSell Partner Portal had been enhanced (beyond the scope of dealers), to include a resource platform for retailers such as myself. The idea is simple: to empower me to do more, so armed with my login and password, I entered the portal and began to investigate…

To my delight, I discovered the NSPP (that’s what NitroSell people call it) to be very intuitive and easy to navigate. In fact from a non- technical person’s point of view, it was surprisingly easy!

My favorite resource on the portal has to be the ‘Your WebStores’ section. There are some neat new charts and reporting, which are essentially sophisticated line graphs that plot out an overview of my store's performance over the last 12 months, along with supporting data. It provides a comparative illustration of traffic versus revenue, and it shows me my growth rate/revenue versus WebStore cost.  Terrific - a report I can come to grips with!

Billing is another handy feature on the Partner Portal. This enables me to view my billing history, see what I expect to pay in the coming months, and print out any outstanding invoices that are due. At any time, I can also choose whether I wish to be invoiced manually, automatically by credit card, or to pay through the Portal PayPal system: simple but effective.

A final word is on ‘Markeplace Integration’. For me, it’s important to know I’m getting noticed on the Web. I might have a pretty good-looking store, but it’s not much use to me without generating traffic to my site. That’s why NitroSell has integrated their WebStores with Google's product search engine Froogle and Windows Live.

Froogle is the 'product'-based search engine from Google, and Windows Live is its Microsoft counterpart. NitroSell provides an easy way through the Partner Portal to integrate with both. What this means for me, is that by integrating with these systems, I have optimized my chances of any product search relating to my WebStore being noticed - that’s good news for my business.

In summary, I found the Partner Portal to be very smart and intuitive, in terms of enhancing my awareness and product understanding. It enables me to submit my support queries, check my billing status, and track my WebStore performance. It’s the perfect online resource for my Web business.
