Overview
NitroSell is seeking to recruit a web developer/designer to assist our retail customers in the development and design of their NitroSell integrated eCommerce website and supporting applications. The role is open for telecommuters based in the US, the UK, Ireland, or can be based in our Cork, Ireland home office.
This role requires a deep understanding of HTML, CSS, and jQuery along with solid visual design skills, including a sense of graphic design, layout, color, typography, and style, and an appreciation for simple, sleek, usable interfaces. This position requires someone with strong interpersonal skills and a drive to create great looking, user friendly ecommerce websites.

Responsibilities
Primarily providing web development and design services to our retail customers
Working with the product manager, customers and other stakeholders to define the User Interface requirements for each site
Updating and supporting the NitroSell website and blog
Assisting in the creation of screencasts for the purposes of product support and marketing
Contributing to the NitroSell Blog and knowledge base
Experience
3+ years experience in HTML, CSS, jQuery, visual/web design, and Photoshop
Experience with website mock-ups and rapid prototyping
A fastidious attention to detail
An appreciation for visual design, e.g., color schemes, typography, and layouts
An obsession with delivering the best user experience possible
A passion for web technologies and visual design
Skills
Must have excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, and jQuery – php experience a plus
Competent with web design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, and Dreamweaver
Strong command of web standards, CSS-based design and cross-browser compatibility
Demonstrable experience building world-class, consumer web user interfaces
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proactive, uses initiative
Must be deadline driven and a good team player
Education
Preference will be given to holders of a Degree in Graphic or Website design from an accredited institution but demonstrable expertise developed from 3+ years experience in a recently held similar position will also be seriously considered.
